All guests must wear a face covering while visiting the Fort Heritage Precinct. Click HERE for more information.

Please note that we will be closed to the public on October 31st, 2020 for our All Hallows’ Eve Event. Visitor Information, Gift Shop services, and Tours will not be available on this day.

We welcome back some familiar faces, and some new faces. Everyone looks forward to meeting all the schools coming out this season. Joseph Wood has stepped into the position as our permanent Program Assistant over the summer months. We welcome back Glen Buchan and Brianna Nadin-Leal, and welcome Al Stewart, Mellisa Larouche, Marg Elliott, and Khalehla Litschel our newest casual Program Assistants.

We are excited about the variety of skills and experience of our team this season. Experiences range from teachers to historians we even have in the mix a retired parole officer. We will leave it up to you to try and figure out who has what experience. While a rest is well deserved, we are happy that Glen is only reducing the amount of time with us. He will occasionally be around when he isn’t off travelling the world and enjoying his retirement. We also would like to wish Jessica Weller a great year of studying as she sets to complete her masters on the west coast.

"The facilities we experienced were authentic and helped us gain a genuine understanding of what it was like at the Precinct over 100 years ago."
