School Programs

The Fort Heritage Precinct will be closed on Family Day (February 17, 2020). The Historical Society has cancelled Winterfest due to cold temperatures. The City of Fort Saskatchewan apologizes for any inconvenience. We hope to see you soon!

The Fort Heritage Precinct offers a variety of curricular programs designed to support historical thinking, delivery, and synthesis of knowledge as outlined in the Alberta Social Studies Curriculum. Through programs offered by knowledgeable and enthusiastic interpreters, we offer students and teachers an interactive opportunity to engage with the rich history of our province and country.

Registration for our 2019/2020 school year History Centre programs opens at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, June 3.
